BOPT stands for battery operated pallet truck — a powered machine that moves palletised loads horizontally while the operator walks behind or rides on a platform. Unlike a hand pallet truck, a BOPT machine drives and lifts on battery power, so there is no manual pumping or pushing. Sumachay BOPT machines cover 1,500 kg to 3,000 kg capacities with lithium batteries and 220V charging, in walk-behind and ride-on configurations.

Electric pallet trucks work on smooth concrete, sealed warehouse floors, and dock plates. They fit standard container and truck widths and most dock doors. Avoid steep ramps (over 5% grade), outdoor gravel, and wet surfaces. Minimum aisle width is typically 2.5 to 3 metres for safe turning.

All our electric pallet trucks use lithium-ion (LiFePO4) batteries with built-in chargers compatible with standard 220V Indian power outlets. A full charge takes 4–6 hours and delivers 6–8 hours of typical warehouse use. Opportunity charging during breaks extends runtime. No battery watering or acid maintenance required.

Our 1,500 kg models — the SESR15 and the narrow-fork SESR15-N — run on a 24V LiFePO4 lithium battery, while the 2,000 kg models (SELR20 and the scale-equipped SELR20-S) use a 48V LiFePO4 battery. Every unit has a built-in charger that plugs into a standard 220V outlet, so no dedicated charging room is needed. We keep replacement lithium batteries and chargers in stock for all models, so parts stay available for the life of the equipment.

Yes. The SESR15-N is a narrow electric pallet truck with 550 mm forks sized for Euro pallets and tight-entry loads, on the same 24V lithium platform as the standard SESR15. For high-throughput operations, the SER20 (2,000 kg) and SER30 (3,000 kg) are ride-on BOPT machines that the operator drives rather than walks behind.
